Various industries in modern society more and more high to the requirement of power quality, voltage sag is the most prominent of the power quality problem. Power sector needs to quickly analyse the reason of voltage sag, and provide decision-making basis for power quality governance. however, now the majority of sag calculation analysis system is an off-line system more, this type of system consists of timing acquisition data, centralized computing and off-line query, poor timeliness. Randomness of sag events and transmitted at the same time, when sag events may be more than one monitor terminal equipment to capture, in order to calculation analysis fast, need for multiple monitoring points at the same time calculation and analysis.In this paper, the Agent and multi-Agent system technology theory, characteristics and system structure are studied, multi Agent system has the advantages of distributed, concurrent problem solving, suitable for solving the problem of low voltage sag calculation analysis of timeliness. So in this paper, the multi Agent technology applied to the monitoring analysis of voltage sag, and the design and modeling of the system, including the design of the physical and logical architecture, as well as the system of static and dynamic modeling. JADE and adopted many Agent simulation platform for development, the platform provides the basic services, and communication, greatly simplifies the complexity of system development.Finally, based on the Agent of the voltage sag monitoring and analysis system was tested, the test including the Agent in the system can normal communication, task can be correctly allocated. And finally, the paper analysis and based on the centralized computing Agent compares the calculation time, verify the calculation and analysis system based on multiple Agent has better timeliness.
