With the implementation of nation-building high-speed rail network planning, high-speed rail construction in Harbin becomes one of the most important parts. Harbin is the most important city in northeast of China. The rapid economic development has promoted the high-speed construction of the grid in recent years. The high-speed railway, passing through Harbin region, brings new opportunities to Harbin grid construction, at the same time it also brings great challenges. According to the high-speed rail route plan, two high-speed railway traction stations will be constructed in western Harbin. High-speed rail has been greatly enhanced its speed compared to ordinary electrified railway, so the higher reliability is required. The reliability of traction system is directly related to the safe operation of the high-speed rail, as well as high-speed rail line running order. So the grid should offer more reliable power.Firstly, the dissertation describes the basic theory of power system reliability and reliability analysis of power by using mathematical tools. Then it summarizes the popular reliability analysis methods at present. Combined with the characteristics of the traction system, power supply solutions for the two high-speed rail traction stations in western Harbin are put forward.To meet the supply reliability requirements for high-speed rail, this dissertation combins the idea of taking the main network and distribution network assessment together to determine the indicators of distribution system reliability evaluation of high-speed railway. Furthermore, on the basis of the index system, it establishes a high-speed rail distribution system reliability evaluation model.On the other hand, the combination of the full life cycle cost calculation model of the asset life cycle theory and power system engineering economic analysis is used in the engineering economic analysis of two traction stations. So reliability indicators and economic indicators improve reliability evaluation model to make it more applicable to engineering practice.Finally, the combination of economy and reliability evaluation model evaluates the proposed two traction station power supply solutions, and achieves good results.
