Analysis On Urban Spatial Morphology Of Chongqing Mastercity Based On Remote Sensing

With the rapid economic development of the city, the pace of urban constructionwill accelerate, followed by rapid urban spatial form evolution. Rapid evolution ofurban spatial morphology will bring a range of urban problems, such as urbanpopulation growth, urban landscape features destruction, urban land development istoo fast, the traditional theory of urban planning in the new environment has beenunable to solve the above problems, while urban space rapid evolution of forms hasalso brought new challenges to planning, planning needs to be more scientific theoriesand methods to study and solve these problems.This paper based on the recent RS images obtained Chongqing City built up areaand construction land date after treatment with interpreting software. The measure ofurban spatial morphology indicators are divided into internal and external in thisresearch, then found that the characteristics and evolution of the internal laws of spatialform. After obtaining the data, use the strength of the expansion, the expansiondirection, compactness, diversity indices to analysis external spatial morphology, usethe land construction date to analysis the internal spatial morphology. In the currentsituation and the spatial form of the city, we can have a clear understanding about thecity. Then assess the current planning, clearly the extent of urban development, if itmatches the overall planning and the overall growth rate is reasonable. After anassessment of the current situation, combined the demographic and economic data withurban spatial form data to analysis, and predict spatial form trends, it can be moreintuitive and image in space exploration research.Through the research, obtained the following conclusions:(1) external spatialmorphology trends remain healthy, the internal morphology of urban space layoutmore reasonable, but there is still room for adjustment;(2) Urban planning has obviousguiding regulatory role in morphological changes, after assessing the current planning,found some problems.(3) According to the status of the main city of the analysis ofurban spatial morphology, evolution analysis, analyze trends and problems, give someurban planning proposal, and improve the urban planning theories.
