| China has witnessed a great development in transportation construction. There into,concrete-filled steel tubes arch bridge develops a lot because of its advantages such asappealing design, light weight and reasonable force. Xiangshuigou Bridge, whichlocates in provincial road S211, is a typical concrete-filled steel tubes arch bridge withunequal abutments, and it was hoisted without cable bent tower. Depending onXiangshuigou Bridge, force behavior of unequal abutments and linear control in theprocess of hoisting without cable bent tower are researched and analyzed.A three-dimensional calculation model of Xiangshuigou Bridge was built withMIDAS/Civil. Axial forces, bending moments, displacements and stabilities ofconcrete-filled steel tubes arch bridges with different inclining angles were analyzed.The results shows that axial force is barely affected by inclining angle and bendingmoment(especially the abutments) is heavily affected. Besides, inclining angle doesn’teffects the deflection of the crown but L/4and3L/4of the arch.Pre-camber of inclining symmetry arch bridges were discussed and the commonmethod were introduced. Depending on the comparison and analysis of the commonmethods, a new method of pre-camber determining is put up, that is, set the locations ofspecial sections(L/8, L/4, etc.) as deflection controlling points.The cable hoisting system of Xiangshuigou Bridge was designed in considerationof site conditions. The cable bent towers were replaced by anchor beams located inanchor holes built on each bank. And a single arch rib closure method was adopted.Elevation of arch ribs was adjusted with rope cables controlled by winding engine. Barearch deformation was set as control objective on the base of comparing common cableforce calculation methods and geometric shape adjustment methods. Control principlesof the arch rib construction elevations, which is ‘line shape first, cable force second’,are put up basing on the theory of influence-matrix-based invariable cable method andthe characters of the actual conditions of the site.Force controlling of the suspender shall influence the geometric shape and internalforce distribution directly. The influencing factors of vibration-frequency measurement,a commonly used cable force testing method, was introduced and discussed.Comparison of cable forces calculated according to measured frequency values anddifferent vibration models lays the foundation for the practical calculation formula considering border terms, flexural stiffness and etc. And the practical calculationformula was checked by applying to the suspender measured frequency calculation ofZhengzhou Yellow River Bridge. |
