| Based on The Ministry of transport application foundation research project of"Study on fundamental of extra-large span steel truss-concrete composite continuousrigid frame bridge", the mechanical characteristics and design methods of the jointbetween pier and beam of this new structural system, proposed by Prof. Zhou Zhixiang,are selected as study objective. Some work has been performed and someimprovements have been obtained relying on design of Qingqiyong bridge inGuangzhou.â‘ Analysis of structural characteristic and mechanical performance of steeltruss-concrete composite continuous rigid frame bridge has been carried out, and themaximum horizontal push load combination for the real bridge has been achieved bycontrastive analysis under service loads.â‘¡Three joint schemes with Channel, Embeded corbel and Embeded part havebeen put forward, consequently contrastive analysis has been implemented from sidesof structural property, mechanical behavior and construction convenience and thescheme of Embeded part is the optimum one.â‘¢3D model of the joint of pier-beam has been modeled in ABAQUS, withexternal loading from2D structural analysis, and loading trace and stress distributionin different parts have been revealed.â‘£A formula and method of design for this kind of pier-beam joint has beenconstructed, and the size of member is optimized.The results in this study is referred for design of this kind of pier-beam joint and isfounded for this new style of bridge. |
