Study Of Production, Common Disease And Solution Of Parallel Wire Cable Of Cable-stayed Bridge

In recent forty years cable-stayed bridge is a kind of bridge structure which is rapid development at home and abroad has been widely applied Stay cables as its main mechanical structure component, has been complex affected by worn materials、 infiltrated rain、vibrated cabled and external factors are often suffered corrosion and fatigue damage and these factors threat the bridge safety. In addition,the cable of construction maintenance and the application of new materials need in-depth research, we have to know the reasons of the diseases and could take effective measures to ensure the lasso safety、durability and reliability.This paper makes study of the most common parallel steel wire cable on cable stayed bridge in the aspects of material selection、production manufacture、construction method、the cause of diseases and the application of new materials. During the cable installation, owing to improper construction, cable prone to HDPE sheath breaking that would lead the wire corrosion and installing covering badly will cause embedded sleeve sealing failure, etc. Base on these issue, studying for the solution of on-site repairs is necessary. After the cable stayed completed, in the process of use and operation, it may work with some diseases such as the cold cast anchor corrosion by cable end sealing failure and the corrosion of cable covering and anchor covering.In addition, the paper carries out some discussions and engineering practices around the prospect of CFRP cable of the carbon-fiber composites materials、the performance of dibutyl phthalate in new perfusion anchor materials and the application of Sherardizing Technology in cable, and it has gotten good economic benefits.
