With the continuous progress of the strategy of urbanization, urban road scale is also growing. As the city an important part of the road system-cellar well, in fulfilling its role, due to technical limitations and shortcomings of the structure itself, in the face of urban road heavy traffic loads in the case, there has been a lot of sinking, protrusions, tilt, covers fracture and other damage phenomena. These diseases of asphalt road in the city is more serious, and even urban roads have become common problem. Of these phenomena on urban transport, car life, driving safety and comfort as well as the city’s image have caused a negative impact. Manhole subsidence damage the search for solutions to the problem, this paper made the following studies:(1) Research team within certain sections of Liuzhou city representative on the road manhole conducted a field survey and found that the asphalt pavement manhole settlement destruction far greater than the cement concrete pavement; Fast lane manhole destruction serious than the slow lane. Investigation team chose destruction typical asphalt road manhole detailed analysis, mainly due to traffic loads and well body itself due to structural defects.(2) The traditional brick manhole subsidence damage mechanism were analyzed. We focused on brick manhole depth, force, structural defects in materials, construction techniques and brick wells and destruction of parts of the failure modes were investigated and analyzed.(3) We focused on the problems of traditional brick manhole, citing the current can be used to replace traditional brick wells several new manhole, by comparing the initial validation of new plastic manhole technology can effectively prevent sedimentation disease, the construction process is simple, technically excellent performance, and significant economic benefits and so on.(4) We force against brick well the type of damage and structural damage, according to the relevant test specifications for new plastic manhole technology and traditional brick well for a variety of materials and structures targeted laboratory experiments. Verify the structure of the material of plastic manhole brickwork materials and structures with respect to the advantages, and further validate the feasibility of engineering application.(5) We analyzed the plastic manhole technology application in the case of urban roads, and its construction program, the implementation of the economic effects of the projects were analyzed. Experiment illustrates the plastic manhole technology in urban asphalt road damage has anti-settling reliability engineering and economic feasibility.
