The main channel of river is the most importment way for the lower yellow river to drain flood and sand. In recent years, the channel has been becoming more narrow and the runoff which have same height with hirstie has been reducing, the speed and amount of the main channel sendimentation of the lower yellow river has rise dramatically because of the reducing runoff and, especially, increasing frequency of middle and little flood in flood season. It is the fundmental reason of the dangerous situation of flood-defending for the lower yellow river. To solve sendiment step by step, which is a long time task, we need many methods such as hindering, irrigating sendimentation, draining, adjusting, digging. In a long period, yellow river will still be of a great deal of sendiment because natural runoff couldn't transport so large amount of sendiment, and it is difficult to reduce sendimentation of the lower yellow river by large-scale reservoir in time and reach, especially in SHANDONG reach. So we should use advanced foreign technology and digging mechine to dig out a great deal of thick sand to reduce sendimentation and add the ability of draining flood and sendiment in main channel, so to change the disadvantageous situation of the lower yellow river.Through observation and research of trial project, the main objectives of this paper is to analyse the key technology of project of dyke solidification and sedimentationdigging out, which content include: (1)analyset the type and parameter of mechine of dyke solidification and sedimentation digging in considering scale, time limit, fee of a project, so to propose the suitable mechine, which includes dredger, compounded slurry pump, (2)the amount and arrangement of mechine is put forward according to position relationship of mechine and channel section in length and breadth, (3)suggest an effective management system which will provide good help for implement project.
