With the continuous development of our country’s economy, energy problemhas became a big problem restricting the development of our country’s economy.Wind power as relative mature technology of renewable energy has been valued bythe Chinese government. But the output of wind power has the feature of randomnessand volatility. Increase the difficulty of power grid dispatching work when the windpower connected to the power grid. With the large-scale wind power connected to thepower grid in our country, The economic dispatch of power system containing windpower has very important significance. For the various influence factors and specialsituation of the power economic dispatch of power system, Base on the previousresearch, the paper make the research on the economic dispatching problem, and themain research work is as follows:(1) Set up the dynamic economic dispatching model of power system containingthe thermal power or wind power and thermal power base on the MATLABrespectively, use particle swarm optimization algorithm solve the model, work out theeconomic dispatching scheme. In power system containing the thermal power,analyze the influence on the results of the power economic dispatching problem whenconsider the Valve Point Effect. Results show that ignoring Valve Point Effect willaffect the accuracy of the economic dispatching results greatly. In the power systemcontaining the wind power and thermal power,analyze the influence on the result ofthe economic dispatching problem when consider the standby of the wind power, theresults show that considering standby of the wind power will increase the cost of thepower system, but increases the reliability of the system greatly at the same time.(2) Base on the dynamic economic dispatching model of the power systemcontaining the wind power and thermal power, Join the trapezoidal hydropowerstation into the economic dispatching schedule, Set up the dynamic economicdispatching model of power system containing the thermal power, wind power and hydroelectric power, use particle swarm optimization algorithm solve the model,work out the economic dispatching scheme. By changing the scale of hydropower andwind power capacity, analyze the influence on the result of the power systemeconomic dispatch when the power grid has different capacity of hydropower andwind power. The capacity of the hydropower unit affect the system’s ability to acceptthe wind power in a large extent,In the system containing the capacity smallhydropower and large capacity of wind power. In order to increase the system’s abilityto accept wind power when lack of system spinning standby, add additional extrathermal power units to provide system spinning standby, work out the economicdispatching scheme.(3) Combining with the power grid of Xinxiang, according to the ratio of thecapacity of unit in regional power grid, analyze the situation without extra spinningstandby and add extra spinning standby, work out the economic dispatching scheme.Through comparing the result.When add60MW extra spinning standby, not only canincrease the system’s ability to accept wind power, but also get the best economicdispatching scheme.
