Along with the increasing seriousness of energy depletion and environmental pollution problems,using renewable energy become the development trend.Wind power and photovoltaic power generation technology get fast development,but the volatility of wind power and photovoltaic power generation make it difficult to connect with the grid,especially make the economic dispatch problem more complicated.For the uncertainty of wind power and photovoltaic power output,we research the economic dispatch problem of power system,which include wind farm and photovoltaic power station.Paper firstly analysis the characteristics of the wind power and photovoltaic generation,and using the historical data to predict the power output by BP neural network.Then we optimize the BP neural network by genetic algorithm.Paper analysis the influence of wind farm and photovoltaic generation,and introduce punitive measure to the pollution of thermal power unit and to spare capacity of wind farm and photovoltaic generation in the cost target function.At the same time,consider the supply-demand balance of the system,generator output constraints and minimum operation time constraints to form the mathematical model of power system dynamic economic dispatch with wind farm and photovoltaic generation.In view of the specialty of the unit combination problem,select discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the scheduling model.To reduce the blindness of the algorithm in the initial stage,paper introduces the priority method according to the economy of generators.Writing particle swarm program in Matlab,and do simulation for the power system with ten thermal power units.Results show that the proposed particle swarm optimization algorithm can effectively solve the scheduling model,and wind farm and photovoltaic power generation can reduce power generation cost.In order to reduce wind power and photovoltaic power output volatility influence on power generation costs,paper designs energy storage system to smooth the output power.Doing the Simulation in Matlab/Simulink environment,results show that energy storagesystem can guarantee the stability of the wind farm output and can reduce the error of the actual and forecast.Finally we add the energy storage system to scheduling model,and make simulation for the power system with ten thermal power units,results show that energy storage system can reduce the generation cost.
