At present, concrete are the most widely used building materials in the word, which are widely used in port, dam, highway, bridge, municipal and others’ modernengineering construction. With the rapid development of Chinese economy, scienceand technology and the constantly expanding of construction scale and structuredamage problems are more and more prominent, The permeability of concrete is paidmore and more attention. As a kind of rigid waterproof materials, the soluble inorganic permeablecrystalline waterproof material is well known with its properties ofenvironment-friendly and intelligence. The problems of water seepage, caused by theconcrete cracking, are effectively solved by it so that it is widely used inwaterproofing projects of bridge and tunnel. The performances of waterproofingmaterials are decided by the concrete raw materials in some degree, so the testing ofwaterproof performance based on the region materials is particularly important. The concrete properties of absorption and permeability were studied through bythe test of the water absorption and the permeability of concrete, which was mixedwith the Urumqi raw material. What’s more, the effectiveness of the age of curing andthe grade of concrete for its properties of water absorption and the permeability issystematically analyzed in this paper. At last, the performance of the soluble inorganicpermeable crystalline waterproof material was discussed in this paper. More details asfollow:the higher concrete strength, the lower water-absorption index of concrete; themore capillary crystalline coating, the lower water-absorption index of concrete; helonger age of the capillary crystalline coating, the lower water-absorption index ofconcrete. Through a group of experiments, this essay studies the improvement in thewaterproof ability of concrete in different degrees.
