As a kind of machinery in common use, vibrating screen has been widely used inmining, coal, metallurgy, light industry, machinery, chemical industry, electric power,building materials, transportation, national defense industries and so on. The vibratingscreen mainly works in the high-frequency vibration state, so it is not only undercorrosion by material, subjected to impact force and gravity, but also affected by thealternating excitation force. This situation make it often appear beam fatigue failure,side plate cracking and the failure of the screen frame in practice, it has brought thehuge impact on production and operation. Therefore, the analysis of dynamiccharacteristics and the prediction of fatigue life are of importance for vibrating screen.This paper uses3YK2160circular vibrating screen as the research object, and thecircular vibrating screen modal has been established using APDL. The dynamiccharacteristics have been got through modal analysis and transient dynamic analysis ofthe vibration screen. The multi-axial fatigue analysis software FE-SAFE with highprecision has been applied to fatigue analysis, the minimum fatigue life can be achieved.The life of circular vibrating screen can be forecasted scientifically, it is of greatsignificance to optimization design and the timely maintenance in practice.
