Since the late20th century, application of computer network technology is morewidely. As a new discipline in the field of computers, workflow technology is part ofthe computer collaborative technology. Workflow technology is the core technologyof automating business processes management. Custom business processes basedworkflow management system has a great role in promoting enterprise businessprocess reengineering, collaborative technology development.First we propose research background and significance, traceability and status ofresearch at home and abroad. Based on related theoretical research, we analyzethree-dimensional design process of the oldest and most widely used earth androckfill dam. By the analysis of existing earth and rockfill dam three dimensionaldesign processes and content, We improve the design process based on workflowideology. We give the different department of professional design personnel divisionof labour, to achieve a clear, well-structured three-dimensional design process of earthand rockfill dam.We choose the YAWL as process modeling and management system platform ofearth and rockfill dam three-dimensional design, we study YAWL symbolic,architecture and characteristics. We has built the custom of earth and rockfill damthree-dimensional design process model. In addintion, we achieve earth and rockfilldam three-dimensional design workflow management system of flexibility and strongadaptive capacity by implementing a set of technology based on YAWL. Realizingearth and rockfill dam three-dimensional design process computer automatedmanagement from manual.All stage of the earth and rockfill dam three-dimensional design process arecoupled to each other. Three-dimensional design process of the earth and rockfill damis defined, modelled and controlled using workflow technology. We buildthree-dimensional earth dam design process model, making it a business process withsystem management capabilities. We analyze the three-dimensional design workflowmanagement system of earth and rockfill dam. This system has strong adaptability, better process control, and can effectively improve the degree of the standardizationof the design management, flexible balanced load and improve the design efficiency.
