| In the development process of firearms, we use a spiral groove machined in the barrel to improve the warhead’s shooting accuracy which is called Rifle. When the warhead goes through the barrel’s groove, it will produce rotaryl motion, so that when flying out of the barrel, the warhead’s centroid can keep stable and the ballistic’s flight path can also keep relatively stable, thereby the warhead can get a good shooting accuracy.Conventional rifling such as Rib rifling, it’s twining angle which means the angle between the tangent at rifle’s any point and the axis of the barrel is invariant. It begins with a rapid increase in the rotational speed of the warhead result to the loss of a large amount of energe. Currently, although the using of mixed rifling in the barrel reduced a lot of energy consumption, most of bullet’s energy is still consumed because of its twining angle’s limit. The twining angle of the accelerando rifle is not only changing but also change widely, it can make the warhead’s rotational speed gradually increase as needed when the warhead flies in the barrel, this will not only improve warhead’s shooting accuracy, but also can ruduce the bullet’s energy loss. In the field of firearms, both the theory and processing method’s study and processing equipment of the accelerando rifle have been very important research topics. Although other types of rifle processing equipment has matured, there are still many problems. So in order to better improve the rifling machine’s efficiency and service life, and most important thing is to improve the bullet’s shooting accuracy, in this article, presented accelerando rifle electrolytic processing method and apparatus.In this article, I found its problem and raised accelerando rifle of ECM machine through the analysis of old accelerando rifle machine’s working principle and structure, did relevant theoretical analysi of accelerando rifle, established an accelerando rifle’s machining mathematical model and did some simulation, determined accelerando ECM equipment’s design goals and designed its overall scheme, did the function principle design of accelerando ECM equipment with functional principle design method, established the evaluation criteria of accelerando ECM equipment and conducted a techinical evaluation, and finally determined the available priciple scheme. On this basis, I completed accelerando ECM equipment’s overall layout and structural design by optimizing accelerando rifle machine’s function principle scheme and verified the reliability of the key parts with ansys.In this article, I demonstrated the feasibility of accelerando ECM equipment with theorectical analysis and simulation experiments, completed its machine design, completed accelerando rifle’s electrolysis process. The new ECM equipment can machine different rifles which expands the scope and improves the working performance and processing efficiency. This new equipment is very important to modern firearm’s research and development. |
