Research On Methods Of Planning And Design Of The New Countryside In The East Of Henan Province From The Perspective Of Regional Culture

The east of Henan province is one China’s agricultural civilization origin, thousands ofyears of accumulation have created many unique natural villages. With the work of new ruralconstruction vigorously promote, many beautiful traditional villages are pushed to the ground inthe process of relocation of village, religion culture is losing seriously. How to use planning anddesign methods, to promote these most precious culture of village in the rural settlements in thenew age is very significant.This paper aims to, in the view of architecture and on the base of systemic research ofregional culture in the east of Henan, propose planning and design methods that not only can meetthe increasing demand for living and production environment of rural residents, but also canhighlight the regional culture of eastern Henan, so that the construction work of new countrysidecan be carried out smoothly.The first chapter describes the research background of this topic, describes its theoreticaland practical significance, makes clear the scope of this study and defines the relevant concepts,describes the research status at home and abroad, describes the research methods and frameworkat the end. The third chapter analyzes the influence of regional culture to the architecture designthroughout ages, expounds the importance of regional culture in new rural construction, describesthe expression of regional culture in design. The forth chapter presents an outline of thecountryside in East Henan, analyzes the characters of rural settlements in East Henan, analyzes thecharacters of rural architecture in East Henan, analyzes the characters of intangible culture in EastHenan.
