With the rapid development of information technology, the battery plays animportant role in communication base station. DC battery power supply system isan important part of communication base station for normal operation of theequipment and the system provides a safe, reliable and stable state.Because of wecan not make use of the battery,the life of battery is shortened, or even the devicescan not work normally.In a word, it is important for us to design the Real-Timemonitoring system of the battery.This paper is aiming at solving this existing problem in monitoring the batteryin the communication base station. This paper describes the background of theresearch of the battery and describes the development of real-time monitoringsystem.This paper proposes the overall scheme of the real-time monitoring systemof the battery which is based on existing technology. The system uses STM32as themicroprocessor. The system samples the operating parameters of the battery andmonitors the state of the battery, it finds the bad battery in time and store thecorresponding data in FLASH,so as to monitor the battery.This paper describes the software and hardware of the data acquisition, themain control unit and fault diagnosis and estimate the remaining capacity of thebattery based on RBF. The system uses intelligent battery monitoring chip DS2438and communicate the main controller with the single bus. This system achieves tomonitor the voltage,current,temperature and other parameters. It demonstrate thefeasibly and correctness of the RBF algorithm to estimate the remaining capacity.After a lot of experiment and study, it shows that this system work in a stableand reliable state. The system can analyze the parameters, diagnose the status of thebattery and find the bad battery. The workers can monitor the battery state of healthand remove the bad battery and replace it in time to save energy.The real-timemonitoring system provides a stable, safe,reliable state of the backup powersystem in the communication base station.
