Taking an important projectile as the background, a set of servo system meeting the special performance and parameters should be developed. The three looped control method of current, speed, and position is used to realize control of the position control. The composition and working principle of the servo system is analyzed in detail in the overall scheme. Key parameters of the servo system, including motor power and tracking precision, is calculated and confirmed. The principle and control method of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is introduced in the second part. A suitable driver for the PMSM is chosen and the design process of its current loop and speed loop is described. In the third part, system identification theory is used for identifying the transform function of the driver of the AC brushless PMSM. Middle frequency design principle and composite control method is adopted to complete the design of a position controller which could meeting the parameter requirements. The composition and working principle of the servo controller and monitor are introduce in the last part of this thesis, and the design of hardware and software system is elaborated in great detail.
