Green Landscape residential areas is an important part of urban green landscape, its ecological design will benefit balance and stability of the entire urban ecosystem conducive to the healthy physical and mental development of the people.The winter cityHarbin possess special geographical location, natural conditions grim and easily damaged ecosystems. Simultaneously the long and cold wintersituationincreases in energy consumption of urban construction and materials So,introducing eco-design in landscape planning and design of residential area in paper has some reference to development of urban ecological settlements.During the study, data access and organize method, survey analysis and summarized method, theoretical data analysis method and and examples of arguments method is comprehensively used.Under the guidance of the relevant design theory and methods of ecological residential area,to Harbin Yiyuan courtyard residential areas and Blue Coast Qingcheng residential areas for example, overall planning and design is done to its and it creats a different characteristic landscape nodes,while puts the ecological design concept into the residential landscape design. Its research main results are as follows:l.By selecting the three residential areas as the main object of study, Harbin residential areas such as architecture style, hard landscape, soft landscape, road system and living space have been made spot investigation.We summarizes the problems that exist in Harbin residential areas at this stage and include landscape imitation phenomenon,less application of ecological dimensions,plant landscape ecological benefits and the lower advantage of outer space environment,whichwill guide the direction of ecological design of residential-area landscape’s detailed elements afterwards.2.If green space, roof and road stormwater runoff are all collected and recycling used in Yiyuan residential-area, we can reuse the total amount of water for14023.55m3,which can be solved within69.67%of the cell total water.Meanwhile,in the case of keeping landscape water inthe normal water level,available rain water can’t meet the total water consumption of the Yiyuan plot so that it needs to add an additional6796.53m3of water.All roofing rainwater runoff amount of the Blue Coast Qingcheng community is8269.07m3,which can be applied to communityafter roof garden natural treatment and artificial processing. On the basis of calculation data results and landscape planning of the residentialarea, residential rainwater resources will be ecologically processed and used through separately the establishment of rain gardens facilities and roof rainwater recycling facilities.3.Communitical resource will be recycled effectivelyas far as possible andecology of natural environment of the Yiyuan community will be achieved by the building of plant community structure.selecting ecologicallythe engineering materials and plant materials of parking, reducing noiseecologically and selection of permeable ground pavingmaterials, which can Realize and play ecological benefits of residential landscape to the largest degree.4.Using building of roof garden, application of energy systems, waste management and utilization and ecological considerations of materials and color of environmental sketches these concrete measures of ecological technology,the Blue Coast Qingcheng community creates a landscape environment at the same time for better utilization of rainwater resources, energy, waste ecological, build the energy conservation and emissions reduction living environment with natural technique.
