With the increasing proportion of the elderly population in China,the number of pension communities is increasing,and the quality requirements of the landscape environment of pension communities are becoming higher and higher.The landscape of the old-age community should pay attention to the special needs arising from the physical,psychological and action characteristics of the elderly,and "barrier-free design" is one of the very important requirements.This study focuses on the content of landscape barrier-free design in Yangnian community and the scope to be considered in its implementation.The significance lies in the recognition of the importance of the implementation of landscape accessibility design in the old-age community by exploring the needs of the elderly for landscape space and its functions in many aspects,and through research and analysis of the current design in China This paper summarizes the principles and methods applicable to barrier-free design,and hopes to provide effective value for the future application of community landscape for the aged.The essence of the community landscape barrier-free design application of Yangnian lies in the "meticulous" detail comprehensiveness.That is,from the old people’s psychological,physical needs,sports level,physical function,hobbies and other aspects of the eye,ear,touch,body,line all-round implementation of meticulous care design.In this paper,from the aspects of plant selection,space division,road paving,guide design,landscape facilities and so on,the author responds and explores the idea of barrier-free design and application of the landscape of the old-age community under this idea,and puts forward a specific scheme for the landscape design of Qingdao Jimo Tianxi Health City.
