Urban interior rivers as the important resource of city ecological system, is one of the strongest areas of common effects of human activities and natural processes. However, with the rapid social and economic development of our country, the process of city is increasing, a huge impact on urban interior river ecosystems, causing river ecology was destroyed, the deterioration of environmental quality basin, river services decline and other adverse consequences, not only damaged the river landscape image, but also affected the city’s image. Meanwhile, with the continuous improvement of living standards, the existing urban green space system has been unable to meet people’s growing spiritual and cultural life demand; people have higher demands for urban interior river landscape. Therefore, how to carry out the comprehensive management of the currently damaged urban interior river ecological system for, build of beautiful river landscape, and improve the urban ecological environment, is needs to solve problems in the construction of urban planning.Took Changsha city interior river of Guitang as the research object and based on the theory of landscape ecology, the author summarized the research on the theory, method and practical experience of the comprehensive management of urban river. On the basis of analysis and evaluation of Cheonggyecheon and Funan River renovation project, and in view of the present basin of Guitang River, the author studied the ecological restoration of water and riparian ecological landscape management of Guitang River though the method of literature review, field investigation et al. And the author came to the following conclusions. First, as an urban interior river, Guitang River is lack of water volume. Second, Guitang River riparian plant coverage was not enough and self-purification capacity of water bodies was falling, so the river has smelling. Third, Severe siltation downstream river mud, making the river flow range narrows. Four, rivers surrounding construction projects are more severely damaged riparian pro shore trail, fence, vegetation, etc. Five, landscape ecological construction of riparian zone was just one of the whole river sections, so the overall continuity is not enough. Based on the comprehensive analysis on the above issues and the theory of landscape ecology, the author put forward the structure optimization planning of Guitang River ecological system from river wetland construction, rainwater purification and reuse and riparian landscape management. The author analysis and evaluates the environmental benefits, ecological and social benefits after the planning, and raised the corresponding improvement suggestions and measures for the inadequacies. Thus, the author completed the urban interior river ecosystem ecological landscape planning from the river restoration and landscape construction. And the author hopes to provide some reference and guidance for landscape ecological planning of other city’s urban interior river ecological system.
