Uneven Settlement Of Masonry Structure Analysis Of The Influence Of The Literature Review

The uneven settlement of foundation effect is the main cause of cracks in masonrystructure building walls. Due to the integrity and stiffness of masonry structure is relativelyweak, and the materials used by low tensile and shear properties, the masonry structure hasbecome sensitive to settlement of the structure. Generally occurs as long as the smallerrelative uneven settlement can significantly cracking in the wall, the wall cracks is masonrystructure house primary forms of various kinds of quality accident. In order to clarify thehouses in all sorts of uneven settlement of masonry structure wall under the action ofdeformation and stress condition, as well as the causes of the cracks and locationcharacteristics, using the large general finite element analysis software ANSYS, this paperestablished a three storey masonry building model and the foundation model, and the builtstructure model under the effect of different types of uneven settlement forms of deformation,stress distribution and failure pattern is simulated, analysis of the simulation results andcompared with the actual situation, in order to prevent cracks and puts forward somemeaningful suggestions for masonry structure.This article mainly includes the following contents:(1) Combined with the selection of related parameters and setting, so as to establish thereasonable structure of masonry building model of strip foundation, upper structure andfoundation model, and determine the uneven settlement way of applying and appliedbasis;(2) Using the model to simulate in the wall of masonry structure crack development processunder the action of both ends of the settlement and the middle settlement,as well as thevariation of stress and deformation, summarizing the characteristics of the cracks in thewall of two settlement form of case, and comparing with the actual situation;(3) By adjusting the foundation stiffness model, the simulation of uneven settlement of soilaround the foundation pit, to study the deformation, stress and cracks in the building’soverall development.Finally, this study further summarized, integrated in the three kinds of uneven settlementform crack characteristics and compared with the actual, and then put forward the deficiencies and defects of this work and direction can be improved in the future.
