Research On Basic Data Service And Detection System For Power Quality

Now the power quality industry is lacking a unified data format and standard. The data formats are varied and can’t be compatible with each other, which is not conductive to information sharing and application integration. On the other hand, the traditional system of power quality tend to operating the local database or monitoring equipment to visit the database. So it has high level of coupling and is not flexible enough, even more it is difficult to be expanded. Therefore, what the problem needs to be solved quickly is that how to unify the basic data management platform, design a reasonable data format and achieve getting data cross regional.The data quality is more and more important in the power industry. But from the current actual situation, it can’t be discovered timely when problems arise in the collection and management system. Instead, we always take measures to remedy afterwards. So it is not only very inconvenient but also can cause irreparable damage. Power Quality Systems lack a mechanism detecting the abnormal data automatically and a reliable measure to guarantee the data quality. So it is conflict with the higher data quality requirement proposed by the power industry.For the above problems, the paper designed a basic data service and detection system, conducted in-deep study of the key issues and gave specific realization ideas. The topic achieved two objectives:One is using the web service to develop a power quality data service system which can support multiple data sources and comply with appropriate standards. The second is to develop a detection system to detect the service consistency and the quality of data. These two parts are both independent and interdependent.The service and detection system provides convenience for the power sector to achieve data sharing within a large region. Besides, it also provides reliable data support and protection for the achievement of power quality advanced applications.
