Flood control and drainage is the basic task of urban river network, with the rapid development of the economic, people gradually pay attention to the water body health, hope adopt corresponding measures to make water flowing, improve the river water self-purification ability, achieve the purpose of improving water environment. In this paper, the study area of Suzhou ancient city is located in the plain river network region, because the small river gradient,slow,hydrodynamic condition is poor, flow disorder, lead to difficult to exist in daily operation and make full use of existing engineering facilities, So, how to make full use of the existing engineering facilities, improving the efficiency of the pumping station cited rows running water, artesian flowing water optimization program, has very important significance.Firstly, the flow of the river in old Town was the prototype observation. Pumping pumping in a variety of conditions, observing the water level inside the old town and the river around the city71sections of the river flow values were the major rivers of the river roughness calibration Roughness in line with the rate fixed for each channel morphology, revetment material, and roughness.On the basis of previous, adopt Saint-Venant system of equations, established a unsteady flow mathematical model of Suzhou’s ancient city, using preissmann weighted implicit format at four o’clock, discrete equations of space and time, With double relaxation iteration method to solve the unsteady flow. In river network, dead water level period of the total length and average flow velocity boot as optimization indexes such as total power, than choose scheme of all kinds of fresh water, respectively for the pump station row of fresh water and their optimized scheme of living water.This paper research results has been applied in Suzhou’s ancient city living water dispatching management, changed the past experience with selected scheduling scheme of operation mode, enhance the level of the river management technology.
