The reliability of the system and the user satisfaction of power system has been in the pursuit of higher, to reduce costs as the goal, cost reduction efforts are focused on reducing operation and maintenance costs. Based on grid is running maintenance of power supply equipment. A large part of the cost of doing business for the expenditure of maintenance technical costs, maintenance quality directly affect the power supply reliability and power quality, directly related to the quality of power grid operation.In addition, with the development of power network, power supply equipment quantity increasing, forcing power companies pay more attention to the interests of enterprises, enterprises pay more attention to the optimal allocation of resources, pay more attention to the pursuit of maximum profits, especially in promoting the reform of power system, the increasing cost of repair cost in equipment inspection under pressure, whether it is from the power grid construction and development of social needs, reform and overhaul the way, using the more advanced means of maintenance management is imminent.Although China has started the condition based maintenance work on a device discovery, and achieved certain results.
