Voltage fluctuation and flicker of electric energy quality is important as long as one of them. In order to adapt to the digital substation construction and advanced measurement system needs, and improve power quality detection, sync and test signals of digital substation voltage fluctuation and flicker detection method was studied.Firstly, introduces the power quality monitoring processes, development of digital substation, voltage fluctuations and flicker detection status, defined the importance of voltage fluctuation and flicker detection of digital substation. Introduces the concept of voltage fluctuation and flicker, and harm, and flicker test methods IEC advance, introducing statistical methods depending on the sensitivity of transient flicker flicker worthy statistics.
