Analysis On The Influence Of Karst Caves On Stability Of Tunnels Surrounding Rock Mass And Karst Treatment Methods

Karst problem is a worldwide problem, in our country, the distribution area ofsoluble rock land area accounts for about1/3,and our country’s karst area is the mostwidely distributed in the world.Vast karst area causes serious impact on China’s transport development. Karsttunnels often resulting in landslides, water inrush phenomenon, and it not only affectsthe duration and even cause serious consequences equipment damage, personal injuryand so on. So how to effectively prevent and deal with karst issues has become a keyissue.In this context, combined with a tunnel project instance of extensive research, referto the analysis on the influence of Karst caves on stability of tunnels surrounding rockmass and Karst Treatment methods. The study mainly includes the following aspects:①It discusses the influence of karst on the tunnel project,and general rules ofkarst.②Karst tunnel prediction techniques to explore and research.③Using MIDAS finite element analysis software GTS analysis on the karstdistribution in different parts of the tunnel,the deformation and stress characteristics ofsurrounding rock displacement inside the tunnel. Reveals the root causes of karst rockinfluence the stability of the tunnel.④To balance the safety,economic and environmental balance of karst tunnelconstruction,presents the content and direction of the next phase of the study.
