ABSTRACT:The application of PC composite box girder with corrugated steel webs as a new kind of composite structure, is increased gradually. In such box girders, the top and bottom concrete plate, the corrugated steel webs and the prestressed tendons can be fully utilized. At present, the study of PC composite box girder with corrugated steel webs mainly focuses on shear buckling mode, bending and torsion behavior, but less research on moment redistribution. Based on the finite element platform OpenSees, the moment redistribution of PC composite box girder with corrugated steel webs is investigated.The finite element model is established with fiber section and force based element, simulating the PC composite box girder with corrugated steel webs. The validation of the modle is verified, by comparing the numerical results with the existing test results.Parameter analysis is carried out for the moment redistribution and load-carrying capacity in PC composite box girder with corrugated steel webs. The effect of the reinforcement ratio of top and bottom plate, effective prestress and concrete strength, is carefully investigated.Finally, design recommendations are put forwards for the moment redistribution of such girders.
