China possesses rich bamboo resources, according to the principles of sustainabledevelopment and low-carbon energy, combined with the requirements in the field ofBridges and buildings, break through the key technical problems of strength、stiffness、durability、design and connectivity, development of bamboo engineering components oflarge-span bridges and houses built to meet the needs of the community. Recombinantbamboo draw lessons the manufacturing processes and principles in recombinant wood,it is bamboo utilization on a new starting point, recombinant bamboo has good physicaland mechanical properties, but now some of the restructure bamboo used inload-bearing structure is still uncommon,main research and development ofrecombinant bamboo main content: weather ability high-strength engineering bamboomaterials processing technology; Second, the large span bamboo qualitative engineeringcomponent design and manufacturing technology; Three, Bamboo engineered materialsnatural anticorrosive and protection technology; Four, Bamboo qualitative structurebuilding design, construction demonstration and performance evaluation of the safetyand health technology; Five, the bridge structural design of bamboo engineeringmaterials.Bamboo qualitative bridge connection structure methods are the foundation of thebridges building, by connecting of the relevant existing steel structure and woodstructure form, proposed three kinds of steel members-bolt the connection formsuitable for bamboo structure, lists the simply-supported structure, truss structure andarch structure of component connections, and design the five kinds of bambooqualitative material pedestrian bridge. And along the lines on the material mechanicalperformance experiment; Finally, using the finite element software for connectingstructural design parameters values were calculated. The main results are summarized asfollows:(1) Agglutination reorganization of the bamboo has better mechanical properties,and its shear strength of adhesive joints shear strength greater than glued bamboo,meeting regulatory requirements; gluing tensile and bending tests in bamboo, tensilespecimen shape (1) and the second bend specimens loaded, its mechanical performanceis better.(2) According to the failure calculation of bolt along the grain, central and sidecomponent minimum thickness, bolt end distance and mid-range of the minimum value,transverse bolt spacing reference to the wood design value. the bolt end distance of theminimum value in model calculation, meeting the requirements of the design values ofshear strength and consistent with the theoretical calculations.(3) The clip steel plates is more appropriate connected in bamboo construct tensilesplice; The slot steel plates is more appropriate connected in bamboo construct bending joints.(4) Changing the Sapwood and advocate material relative thickness and boltdiameter, when the bolt diameter is larger, the failure modes for the middle or sidemember bearing damage; When the bolt diameter is small, failure modes for the boltbending in plastic hinge so as to achieve maximum bearing capacity of connected node.Bamboo and steel connection failure mode Ⅱ for bolt bending and screw hole bearingdamage, and can give full play to the performance of the two materials.
