Chongqing Cuntan3-stage high-pile wharf project is significantly typical in inland port wharf construction because of the highly difficult pile foundation construction caused by the deep water, large water level difference, fast flow rate, complicated hydrogeological conditions and the influence of seasonal swelling. In consequence, as the core of high-pile wharf, the construction quality of pile foundation construction can affect the structural safety of the entire wharf; besides, it is vitally important for the successful operation of the entire Cuntan Port3-Stage project to accomplish pile foundation construction within the dry season. Therefore, based on Chongqing Cuntan3-stage high-pile wharf pile foundation construction, the paper combines theories and practices to conduct a systematic study on pile foundation construction operation platform, pile foundation pore-forming, underwater concrete pouring, quality control and other key technologies. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) The paper analyzes the hydrogeological conditions, engineering design and pile foundation construction characteristics and difficulties of Cuntan3-stage high-pile wharf project, laying a foundation for determining pile foundation construction scheme and technology.(2) According to Cuntan’s hydrogeological conditions, engineering design schemes and construction characteristics and difficulties, the paper explores the suitable construction operation platform scheme and summarizes the key technologies in punching construction process; after that, the paper proposes the construction methods of key technologies in reinforcement cage’s production, transportation, lifting and connection etc. Besides, the paper analyzes the first-batch concrete pouring amount and construction methods.(3) The paper studies the main points of quality control during bored pile construction process in the aspects of three key points:drilling, reinforcement cage production and installation, and underwater concrete pouring. In addition, the paper proposes the prevention and handling measures for bored pile construction quality accidents.(4) Through Cuntan high-pile wharf pile foundation quality detection, wharf deformation monitoring and effect evaluation, the paper verifies the reliability of the pile foundation construction and quality control techniques.The study on the pile foundation construction and quality control techniques of Cuntan3-stage high-pile wharf project can better guide the construction and improve the quality level of pile foundation construction; it has important guiding significance for engineering practice and can provide valuable experience for inland ports construction.
