With the development of the Yangtze River water transport industry, the inland riversuspended vertical frame wharf has been widely used. As a construction platform toconstruction foundation of pile, water platform is fully developed and applied, due to itsstrong security and ease of use. As a temporary construction structure, constructionplatform is different from permanent structures. In the construction and operation,construction platform are also subject to a number of loads. Therefore the safe ofconstruction platform is extremely important for late wharf construction. Based on this,this article will embark on the force analysis of the construction platform of wharf, andresearch the failure modes of instability and operating period monitoring program,which is very important to scientific designed for water construction and ensure securityafter the completion. As follows is main contents and conclusions:(1)Briefly expounds the construction method and key technology of constructionplatform. On the basis of that, a reasonable simplification3D finite element model ofthe construction platform was built by MIDAS/Civil finite element software. And loadsand loading methods on the construction platform were described in detail.(2)Construction platform was analyzed respectively in vertical load and horizontalloads to obtain the stress and deformation regular pattern, the results showed that: In thevertical load, the steel pipe piles of the construction platform bear the main load anddeformation, the effect of vertical load of transient condition did not meet the thresholdeffect combined value of stability requirements of steel pipe pile; In horizontal load, thewhole construction platform generated lateral and torsional deformation, the greatestbending moment, shear force, torque and stress were produced at the end of steel pile,and with the increase of the water force, the bending moment, shear force, torque andstress that shows a trend of linear increase to rapid growth. The characteristics of steelpipe pile cross section on the stress of the construction platform has carried on thecalculation and analysis, the results showed that bending section coefficient is a keyparameter to influence the maximum stress of platform, and the section moment ofinertia is the key to the maximum horizontal displacement influence platformparameters.(3) Research on the stability of construction platform, and analyzes the4majorfailure modes of construction platform, and explore its failure mechanism.The4kinds of security measures of construction platform were proposed in the flood or extremeloads platform for failure modes, that gives a great help to the actually project.(4) Developing monitoring program of construction platform, introduced themonitoring content, monitoring methods, monitoring instrumentation and monitoringfrequency, and analyze the mistakes and influencing factors of monitor. Proposed thewarning system of the monitoring for construction platform, determines its warningvalue, the emergency response plans of construction platform were prepared.
