This paper based on the radiation measurement principle, studied theperformance of the existing radiation thermometers optical system, the size-of-sourceeffect (SSE). As a result of the study, the optical system of infrared temperaturemeasurement was designed. The following was the main work and accomplishment.Developed the optical of near-infrared radiation thermometer with0.8~1.2umwavelength. Through study the structure of the existing radiation thermometersoptical system, the optical of radiation temperature measurement designed, withsimplified structure, convenient for assembly, easy to adjust the light path and controlthe factor variable in the experimentation, was suited to the requirement of this paper.The optical element design of the experiment optical system. According to theperformance requirement of optical system, the infrared objective lens was designedspecially. We got the objective lens initiating structure through the primary aberrationtheory, and optimized the structure through the widely used optical design softwareZEMAX; eventually, the satisfied objective lens structure parameter was obtained.Developed the mechanical structure of the optical system. The mechanicalstructure was designed separately in order that every element forming the opticalsystem should be fixed and adjusted easily in the experiment, finally, fitted togetherwith the screws; At the same time, in order to ensure that the optical path was easy toadjust, we chose the magnetic base and guide rail to control the vertical and horizontaladjustment.Establishment of the experiment platform and Performance test. After the designof optical system and mechanical structure was completed, we set up the experimentplatform; through preliminary test, this system was satisfied.
