Taking fully enclosed vertical single cylinder rolling piston compressor as research object, this paper calculated the leakage of rolling piston compressor internal working medium using the clearance flow model of hydrodynamics and the compressor theoretical leak calculation model. On this basis, the leakage characteristics test methods and leakage test on rolling piston compressor internal working medium were studied. The change rule of radial clearance of rolling piston compressor with angle change was obtained by a new clearance test method and the total working medium leakage and radial clearance leakage were gained though the static leakage test on compressors. Furthermore, a new type of compressor dynamic equivalent test device has been designed for acquiring the leakage value and change rule under the condition of multi-factor dynamic change of compressors.The main research work of this paper was summarized as follows:(1) According to the rolling piston compressor working principle and structural characteristics, the theory leakage of each clearance was calculated by analyzing internal leak path, rated clearance value and leakage model. (2) A new compressor internal leakage clearances test method was presented by summarizing existing compressor leak testing methods. In the new testing method, dynamic clearance images were collected by high speed camera system and processed by Photoshop, and then the curves of clearance value changing with angle were drawn, fit and solved by MATLAB to show the quantitative description of the regular of clearance changing with angle.(3) Prototype static leakage experiments were tested on compressors using a method of "drainage gas-collecting&electronic analytical balance weighing". The static leakage characteristics were analyzed by compressor’s leakage curves drew from tests of internal total leakage amount and rolling piston radial clearance leakage under different pressure and different gas collecting time.(4) A set of rolling piston compressor dynamic equivalent leak test device was design and produced which can simulate internal working conditions of the compressor cavity and can control rotational speed, pressure difference, clearance dynamically. The rule of the curve changing with rotational speed, pressure difference, leakage clearance value was obtained and the multi-factor dynamic leakage characteristics of compressor was summarized though experiments carried out under the condition of multi-factor dynamic change.
