| The temperature of the boiler is a very important parameter for life and industrialproduction, especially in the heat, power system,etc. So it is very important to controlthe boiler temperature effectively.It is difficult to set up its precise mathematicalmodel because of the big inertia,lag,nonlinear and other characteristics about theboiler temperature.Now the traditional PID control method used in practice has thedisadvantages of bad parameter tuning result and low accuracy.So it is not easy tomeet the demand of control.This paper designs a boiler temperature control system using intelligent PIDcontrol algorithm.According to the characteristics of boiler temperature controlsystem,the designed system combines the intelligent control theory like fuzzy, neuralnetwork and traditional PID control method.The boiler temperature is the controlledobject and the experimental platform is the EFAT/P process control experimentaldevice.The hardware are the Advantech ADAM modules and industrial controlcomputer while the software is the MCGS configuration.This work gets the step response curve using MCGS monitoring software bycarrying out some experiments on the EFAT/P experimental apparatusfirstly.According to the dynamic characteristics of the boiler temperature,it alsoestablishes the mathematical model of the boiler.Then make the simulationexperiment on the boiler temperature control system by using MATLAB simulationsoftware.And also analyzes and compares with the traditional PID method.Theintelligent PID script was written on the MCGS configuration software based on thefuzzy control rule table.This realizes the intelligent PID algorithm application in thecontrol system of the actual temperature.The results of simulation and actual experiments show that the intelligent PIDcontrol with the characteristics of a small overshoot,short adjusting time and smallsteady-state error.It also demonstrates the validity and feasibility of the intelligent PIDalgorithm applied to the boiler temperature control system. |
