In recent years, with the progress of science and technology and the nationalenergy saving emission reduction concept in-depth, constantly improve the degree ofautomation system of boiler, the boiler room heating system efficiency is low, highenergy consumption, heat loss is becoming increasingly prominent, resulting inserious environmental pollution also increase the user’s cost of heating, boiler toenergy saving and emission reduction the goal of automation transformation project isvery necessary.This paper is based on a small gas boiler renovation project, has been designedbased on PLC heating control system of the boiler room, and gives the guidingideology and the design method of engineering system design. This system mainlyconsists of three parts. Selection and installation of related measurement sensor,interface design and system realization of the hardware of control system,configuration software design of control system. The system uses the modular designthought, is advantageous for the system upgrade and maintenance and management,and have independent development and control of single module function, guaranteethe operation stability and expandability of the system, the effective use of resourcesof the controller, system adopts Siemens PLC control of the boiler room design,equipment such as ventilation, air supply, water supply pump, circulating pump andother equipment to realize the automatic control. This system has realized a number ofmanufacturers at home and between different equipment and the function of thesystem compatibility and data communication, which makes the system greatlyenhanced compatibility. The computer system used in user interface design andimplementation of database management control configuration software to realize thesystem control, automatic control, parameter setting, linkage alarm, data monitoring,historical data query, data reports and other functions.The whole system has been stable operation of a year, the correspondingmonitoring parameters to realize the accurate measurement and stable display,monitoring the running state of the equipment is reliable and accurate, automated gasboiler room centralized control and management, to meet the process requirements ofcontrol system, save manpower, reduce energy consumption, improve the heatingperiod of the boiler system stable and efficient.
