In recent years, As the rapid development of urban traffic, public transportationsystems are becoming increasingly important, it has formed an important way peopletravel. How to improve traffic management and monitoring has become a top priority. With the development of3G and4G technology, mobile Internet bandwidth growsever wider, higher and higher stability, which provides mobile network medium forvideo transmission. And video compression technology is growing rapidly, building astable and reliable mobile Internet video transmission systems is possible. This paper analyzes the gap and profile between domestic and international onpositioning terminal board video surveillance, taking into account the mobility ofvehicle terminal, we use the3G network to transmit video and location data, using thelatest video codingstandard H.264, reducing the video data and the amount ofdata traffic in the3G network. According to needs of system building a Linuxoperating system, detailing thepreparation, revision and implementation processof transplant-related modules drivers. After in-depth analysis of network transportprotocols and video compression format, According to the characteristics of bothdesign a method of RTP packaging compressed video stream. The car terminal packup compressed video stream by RTP, build a UDP client, and then send thepackaging data to monitoring center through the wireless network. At the same timeread the positioning information from the serial port and build a TCP client, using theTCP transport the location information of Beidou/GPS module to the monitoringcenter via the3G network. Finally, writing a monitoring center simulation softwarefor system validation. The monitoring center building a UDP server to receive H.264compressed video data and building a TCP server to receive Beidou/GPS positioningdata. Software can display location information and automatically generate aconfiguration file player to play H.264real-time video received. The results show thatthe car terminal via the3G network, wifi, cable network to send data to themonitoring center and to good effect. This paper focuseson the RTP data binding agreement with H.264videocompression formats, that is, how to use RTP to package H.264compressed video stream. Compared packet data through the network tools with H.264file data analysistools, we can see the original H.264file data is consistent with the package data, verified the method of RTP packing H.264video streaming is correct.
