With the rapid development of economy, the quality of people’s lives hasimproved greatly, people’s travel are becoming more and more frequent, urbantransport is also facing more and more challenges. Urban public transport has a lot ofadvantages such as high passenger flow, low cost, high efficiency, saving resourcesand so on. Therefore, how to develop public transportation industries and encouragepeople to take bus to travel in order to improve the traffic conditions, is a problem thatworth thinking and research. In order to further improve bus service quality, andprovide more comprehensive traffic information for local residents, in this paper, Istudied the bus transfer algorithm and applied it to intelligent bus query system. Withthe use of JavaScript API, the system combined with Baidu Map while developingand made a second development for Baidu Map, the system displayed the searchresults on Baidu Map which makes the result is more intuitive.In this paper, it first introduced the background, and combined with the currentbus operation situation of Zhengzhou, illustrated the necessity and significance ofdesigning bus query and feedback system. Then it studied people’s travel psychology,analyzed the cause of traditional shortest path algorithm is not suitable for p ublictransport network and applied the SPFA algorithm to the bus route search, put forwarda minimal transfer times based optimal path algorithm. Then made requirementsanalysis of the query and feedback system and made the overall design for it,including the ideas and principles of system design, system architecture design,functional design, develop environment and the technology used and designed thedatabase in detail. And then, designed and implemented each function module indetail. The intelligent bus query system mainly has the following functions: linesearch function, site search function, transfer query function, and according to theusers’ needs to provide two ways of transfer query: transfer least and the site at least,and displayed the query results on Baidu Map in a way of adding layers, at the sametime, the system also provides the function to send query result to people’s phonewhich needs the support of third-party services. The system also includes a newsbulletin and message boards function in order to timely release route updates andinteraction with passengers in time. Furthermore, the system also has a strongback-stage management function. Finally, verified the functions of the system with the bus data of Zhengzhou, the results have showed that the functions of the systemare perfect and the system is user-friendly.
