Along with the electric power construction accelerated and the rapid expansionof the scale, as well as the price of energy soaring, in our country, those cause thesharp rise in the cost of coal-fired and the efficiency declined. So, they are the mainfactors restricting the development of the electric power enterprise. Controlling thewind pressure and the coal reasonably, and optimizing the plant operation are basedon the premise of the operation of the thermal power unit safety, and those are theimportant goals of the thermal power plant to improve coal utilization.To meet with the need of improving the operating efficiency of coal pulverizingsystem with medium speed mill of thermal power units, the paper builds up the datamodel of the coal (the coal into the furnace) which is the main parameter of coalpulverizing system. In the process of modeling, the target variable is the coal, andthe auxiliary variables are related variables (including air volume, wind pressure,pressure difference, etc) in the coal pulverizing system. On the basis of thepreprocessing on the collected status data during unit operating(includinginterpolation processing based on the time series, denoising processing based onK-nearest neighbor and the standardization processing on data), through the linearcorrelation analysis, the paper puts forward the calculation method of relatedvariables during the forecasting process of the coal, and then builds up the datamodel of the coal in coal pulverizing system which uses the method of multiplelinear regression based on the least squares method. As there are some differencesbetween the forecast coal and the actual coal, the optimal control strategy of thermalpower unit coal pulverizing system is proposed in this paper for adjusting windpressure reasonably, improving operating efficiency of the unit, so as to achieve thepurpose of energy saving.In the paper, used an object-oriented design of C#programming language,developed a set of thermal power data acquisition, data preprocessing, data storage,data analysis, data display, abnormal alarm, optimal control and other functions as one of the extensible system MDAS. MDAS system completes the mainachievement of real-time monitoring of coal and wind pressure in the coalpulverizing system, and predicts real-time the coal based on the above directmedium speed mill coal pulverizing system to the coal quantity prediction model ofthermal power units. By combining real-time performance parameters of the coalpulverizing system, and the coal consumption and the model of information in realtime forecasting curve, to give corresponding optimization control strategy, thathelps to improve the control and management ability of power plant staff for a windpressure. This system uses the incremental development model and openarchitecture, to improve flexibility and scalability of the MDAS system.
