In recent years, with the development and progress of society,"green concrete" has become adeveloping trend and more researchers pay attention to it. The cement concrete mixed with rubber particleswhich were crushed by the waste tires, not only can improve the toughness of concrete, but also has gooddurability. However, the lower strength of it has become an important cause that hinder its development. In this paper, Research on the bond strength in the interface zone of rubber particles and concrete, while the surface modification of rubber particles by different ways to find better ways for improving thelower strength of Rubber Concrete. The research on surface modification of rubber particles show that thestrength of Rubber Concrete was treated with water washing,1%concentration of NaOH solution,1%concentration of HCl solution,10%concentration of CaCl2solution and silane has different increase. Theearly strength of Rubber Concrete treated with the NaOH and CaCl2solution was increased rapidly, whilestrength of rubber concrete treated with the coupling agent and HCl solution was increased rapidly in thelater period.Basalt fiber reinforced Rubber Concrete (BRC) was made by adding chopped to improve themechanical properties of rubber concrete. The text of BRC’s cube strength, axial compressive strength, static modulus of elasticity, splitting tensile strength and flexural strength had done. The results show that:rubber concrete cube strength, splitting tensile strength, elastic modulus and flexural strength had adownward trend with increasing content of rubber particles. Rubber Concrete failure modes under extremeload had improved with mixing rubber. The splitting tensile strength and flexural strength of Rubberconcrete had effectively improved by adding chopped basalt fiber. When the cube content of40%rubber,the splitting tensile strength of basalt fiber reinforced Rubber Concrete increased19.83%after addingbasalt fiber; and the cube content of50%rubber, the flexural strength of basalt fiber reinforced RubberConcrete increased35%after adding basalt fiber. While the compressive strength and modulus had littleimpact.
