With the increasing of car ownership in China, the amount of waste rubber tyre isbeconing lager. The treatmenst of waste rubber tyre including incineration, burying not onlycause severe environmental pollution, but also resule a huge waste of resources. Therefore,how to legitimately utlize waste rubber tyre is becoming a research hotspot. Rubberconcrete is a new type of concrete formd by adding rubber powder or rubber particles intoordinary concrete. Because of the addition of rubber particles, the elasticity, damping, noiseabsorption and durability are improved significantly. So, the rubber concrete may be widelyused in the actual engineering application.However, the existing research shows that the rubber added into concrete reduces themechanical performance of concrete and improves the durability significantly. Determiningreasonable content of rubber and modification process to make the rubber concrete withgood mechanical properties and durability has important research value and practicalsignificance. Therefore, aiming at technical performance and process research of concretemodified by rubber particles, the following works are carried out in this paper:(1) This paper took the2-4mm diameter plastic runway rubber particles as theresearch object, based on the research of the cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, waterand other raw materials, the benchmark gradation of C30concrete mixture was design.Three different ways were chosen to replace the content of concrete, which were fineaggregate replacement method, corse aggregate replacement method and overallreplacement method, and the latex, synthetic resin, epoxy resin, unsaturated resin, neopreneand all-purpose adhesive were selected as modifiers. Finally, the detailed test plan wasformulated.(2) The change rules of rubber concrete compressive strength, splitting tensile strength,axial compressive strength, elastic modulus and deformation were studied with different substitution method and improved technology. The effects of different substitution methodand improved technology on the mechanical properties of rubber modified concrete wereanalyzed. And the polynomial fitting method was employed to analysis the relationshipbetween mechanical properties and replace volume and the inner link between rubberconcrete compressive strength and other mechanical properties.(3) The resistance to sulfate erosion and frost resistance durability were studied withdifferent substitution method and improved technology. The effects of substitution methodand improved technology on the properties of rubber concrete durability were analyzed.(4) The relationship between substitution methods and concrete mechanical propertiesas well as the content of rubber particles were obtained based on the grey correlation degreeanalysis method. The results showed that the fine aggregate replacement method is betterthan the corse aggregate replacement method and overall replacement method.
