ABSTRACT:Sandy cobbly soil is widely applied in geotechnical engineering construction by virtue of its good engineering characteristics. The less information on sandy cobbly soil, especially its rheological characteristics leads to improper ways in handing with geotechnical engineering accidences. The rheological characteristics of sandy cobbly soil is getting necessary for the stability of sandy cobbly soil slope construction based on the analysis above to satisfy the needs of the current engineering practice. Experimental research, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are adopted in this paper and nonlinear rheological constitutive model of sandy cobbly soil is established with rheological phenomenology method based on the shear rheological test of sandy cobbly soil which is applied in related slope stability analyses of geotechnical engineering. The specific works of this paper are as follows:(1) Belongs to the sandy cobbly soil slope, carried out a test which contains physical characteristics of gradation and moisture. And then, get qualified sandy cobbly soil materials according to the test, which carried out lots of experiments such as shear rheological tests, grouting uniaxial compression tests, and uniaxial compression creep tests.(2) In the study of the factors which effects instantaneous strength of sandy cobbly soil, proposed a concept "S"(S=cobble weight/clay weight), to analysis the instantaneous strength of sandy cobbly soil under different gradations, and finally, get the instantaneous strength derived variations at different value "S".(3) Carried out shear rheological test on RYL-600rock shear rheometer, Test results showed that sandy cobbly soil has strong nonlinear rheological deformation characteristics, which proposed seven-component nonlinear viscoelastroplasticity rheological model to describe the sandy cobbly soil. And then, Put the model into commercial numerical software, to achieve a simulation of slope creep deformation.(4) Studying on the consolidation grouting body of sandy cobbly soil, carried out uniaxial compression creep tests, results show that consolidation grouting body flow into the steady stage after entering the transient rheological stage, combined with rheological characteristics of the test curve, using the generalized viscoelastic model to describe the rheological of the consolidation grouting body.(5)Rheological characteristics of sandy cobbly soil are comparatively analyzed before and after being injected mortar by means of finite element numerical simulation.
