| With the rapid development of China railway construction, the requirements of railway transport are highly increasing. For speed, heavy load and safety considerations, China railway track laying has started the popularity of continuously welded rail. Since continuously welded rail track with few or no expansion joints, affected by temperature, easy to produce crawling displacement, appear small pieces curved, up track, broken rail and so on. Therefore, Seamless Rail crawling displacement measurement is very important.This paper analyzes the current research status of measuring rail crawling displacement. In order to realize the real-time automatic monitoring of multi node crawling of rail, the monitoring system based on ZigBee wireless sensor network, and the key technologies are studied and designed. Thesis explored a new method of continuously welded rail crawling monitoring for achieving automated rail crawling monitoring is of great significance. Main contents are as follows:Several of the current major wireless communication technologies are analyzed and compared to determine the use of ZigBee wireless communication technology as a seamless rail crawling monitoring automation network platform.ZigBee wireless sensor network architecture, the address allocation mechanisms, routing algorithms are analyzed, the need to establish in this scenario ZigBee wireless sensor mesh network, the upper address allocation mechanism, AODVjr routing algorithm are determined, and analyze ZigBee wireless sensor mesh network formation procession and the data transfer procession.After comparing several major ZigBee wireless sensor network solutions using the CC2530single-chip is identified in this scenario. By comparison, chose DS18B20temperature sensor and KTC-75displacement sensor as the terminal temperature, displacement capture device. By analyzing the PCB antenna and the whip antenna, using CC2591module as the CC2530RF power amplifier. While all the hardware devices are determined, for each circuit is analyzed. To achieve monitor low power management in each node of the network and extend battery life, the paper focuses on the CC2530power management mode.Meanwhile the CC2530software development platform IAR is introduced, rail crawling monitoring system network coordinator and router procedures are designed.Finally, through developing ZigBee coordinator and router/collector modules, establishing rail crawling monitoring system network and PC test, I realized the simulation of the system and completed the design requirements.
