Economic leap brings cultural and entertainment industries to enhance socialization, along with the popularity of the movie industry. With the traditional means of entertainment and planned with a clear purpose to distinguish, cinema become a relaxing pastime places according to psychological behavior of people anywhere. This change not only gave birth to the cinema from early transition single to multiple, but also promotes further complex functions, and provides a new development opportunity for the cinema’s building and services. Commercial complex, as the rapid rise commercial building space in cities, is an excellent carrier for theater building space. In this context, how to be constructed and designed the cinema in the commercial complex is the main research question of this thesis research.Paper, drawing on behavioral science, psychology and other related theories, is based on the theory of architecture, with the research of commercial complex development process and the characteristics of the cinema, access to more information and practical experience through many aspects of field research and analysis. It summarizes the elements of commercial cinema complexes, spatial location, traffic organization, and analyzes the influencing factors and problems in the process of the construction. According to the study, paper analyze and summarize complex commercial cinema layout in the overall system and subsystem spatial, traffic flow lines, technical design and environmental design. Finally, it proposes design strategy of the commercial complex cinema, discussed with specific examples. It is expected this paper can provide reference for the design and research of China’s commercial complex cinema.
