With the increasing intelligentization and digitalization of IED devices in Smart Grid,to maintain its safe and stable operation becomes more urgent. Communication services asa key to the security and stability of smart grid, is one of the important research contents ofIEC61850standards. The online-modification of communication configuration parametersenhances the flexibility of communication among IEDs, but also caused thecommunication parameters out of sync, which is a serious threat to the safety and stableoperation of the Smart Grid.Combined with the services tracking technology, it put forward the design ofcommunication parameter synchronous system. The paper launches the related researchfrom the following aspects:(1) The analysis of the communication configuration parameters online-modificationand protection settings online-modification is the prerequisite and foundation of theresearch on communication parameters desynchrony. On the basis of the research ondistance teleprotection scheme and their implementation of communication between twosubstations in Smart Grid, the paper had an in-depth study on the communicationconfiguration parameters online-modification and protection settings online-modificationissues.(2) The Reporting, as a link connecting the various devices in the Smart Grid, is thebasis of the implementation service tracking technology. On the basis of comprehensiveanalysis on the Reporting communication services mechanism, the paper designed theevent reporting model and its trigger mechanism, and then studied its programmingrealization.(3) Services tracking technology is the key to realize communication parameterssynchronization in Smart Grid. On in-depth analysis of the sync problem of thecommunication configuration parameters and protection settings, the paper proposed thesolutions based on services tracking technology. The tracking model for different servicestracking was constructed; the mapping rules and ACSI construction methods weredesigned for control block service tracking and setting group service tracking. Meanwhile,for the setting group service tracking, the paper built an experimental platform andprogrammed the experimental interface.(4) The design of communication parameters synchronous system is the specific solution to sync problems of communication service parameter. This paper designed thethree core function units and each function module, and analyzed the transmission processof the critical messages and communication delay simulation.(5) Network architecture and unified management of switches is an important part ofcommunication parameters synchronization system implementation. The paper analyzedthe hierarchical structure networking solutions in Smart Grid, and designed a hierarchicalnetwork architecture which is suitable for the communication parameters synchronoussystem. Meanwhile, for the unified management problem of network switches parameters,the network switch in communication parameters synchronous system was modeled as IEDequipment and the related configuration experiment was designed. The experimentalresults show that the new network switch IED equipment is applicable to configurationmanagement, and can be achieved the interoperability with other devices in Smart Grid.
