In recent years, with the depletion of fossil fuels, as the main new energy wind andsolar has been developed rapidly. Wind and solar energy is not only inexhaustible, butalso non-polluting. However, wind and solar energy is random, intermittent anduncertainty, contributing to uncertainty of the output. As the constantly expanding ofwind power and photovoltaic power generation scale, the grid is bound to give anadverse impact. In order to solve the problems brought by the new energy access, animportant way for renewable energy development is putting the energy storage to thewind farm and solar power plant, and we call it Wind/Photovoltaic/Energy storageHybrid System. To achieve a friendly access to new energy sources, Wind/Photovoltaic/Energy storage Hybrid System must be scheduled, therefore the article the article makesthe research that optimizes and controls the energy storage device one day ahead. Thedetails are as follows:1、First, the basic structure and operating principle of the Hybrid Wind/Photovoltaic/Energy storage System is introduced, which explains the whole system how to work.Research has been focused on operating characteristics of the battery, including the stateof charge, the depth of discharge of electricity and each time derivation of the formula,which has an important effect on the storage life. Second, it introduces the methods topredict wind and photovoltaic power generation, analyze the existence of the predictionerrors and lists the methods of handling the prediction error through existing literatures.2、Due to the randomness of the wind and photovoltaic output, the optimal controlmethod of energy storage is proposed based on the chance-constrained programmingtheory. This method considers the constraints of the energy storage device including thepower output and energy constrain, and the matching degree is represented by the valueof the cosine of the angle. The PSO based random simulation is used to solve the model,then we can get the different periods of energy storage charge and discharge power whenthe value of the cosine of the angle is Maximum.Numerical results analysis shows thatthe proposed optimal control strategy is validity for the purpose that maximizing thematch between the output of the Hybrid Wind/Photovoltaic/Energy storage System andthe scheduling curve.3、Due to the fuzziness of the wind and photovoltaic output, the optimal controlmethod of energy storage is proposed based on a fuzzy dependent-chance programmingtheory. This method considers the constraints of the energy storage device including thepower output and energy constrain, and the matching degree of each time is represented by credibility value.So the final goal is maximizing the mean value of the totalcredibility within a day of96periods.The genetic algorithm based fuzzy simulation isused to solve the model,then we can get the different periods of energy storage chargeand discharge power corresponding to the credibility of maximum meanvalue.Numerical results analysis shows that the proposed optimal control strategy isvalidity for the purpose that maximizing the match between the output of the HybridWind/Photovoltaic/Energy storage System and the scheduling curve.
