The dynamic performance of supercharged boiler, which is of great significance forboth the safe and economic operation, the design of the control system, was studied withthe help of simulation technology. The supercharged boiler is taken as the research objectin this paper, which is divided into combustion system and water-steam system based onthe working mechanism. The difference between the supercharged boiler and theatmospheric boiler is also analyzed. The combustion system includes combustion processand radiation heat transfer process. The water-team system includes economizer,superheater, downcomer, riser-pipe, drum and so on. Lumped parameter method isadopted to construct the mathematical model of each component. The nonlinear model ofdrum is established for simulating the variation characteristics of the drum water level.As riser-pipe is two-phase flow, more reasonable mathematical model is acquired,combines steam-water two-phase flow homogeneous model and shunting model,The Dynamic Link Library is created for Matlab with Fortran compiling S functionsbased on the powerful computing platform named Matlab/Simulink, and friendlyinterface of the simulation module is developed as well. Then the overall simulationmodel of supercharged boiler system is established. By modifying relevant parameters,the model is verified at the static and dynamic condition respectively. Typcial largedisturbance tests are performed in the load of100%. The results show that steady statecalculation of supercharged boiler model has high precision, and the dynamiccharacteristicis reasonable and effective, which preferably reflects the unit operationcharacteristic, The works provides a reference for boiler operation and predicts thevariation characteristic of the supercharged boiler thermal system.
