Nowadays, the wind energy which is used as a kind of clean andreproducible energy gets more and more important in the energy scarcity cases.Because of the instability of the wind and continuous enlarging capacity of thesingle machine in wind turbines, mutual effect between the wind power systemand the grid is more and more complicated, In order to improve the efficiencyof the wind power system and the power conversion quality, we have thenecessity to analyses the control system and the control processes.On the basis of analysis a lot of literature and wind turbine works, thispaper summed up the wind turbine’s modeling technology and controllingStrategy technology, and set up the mechanism dynamic model and simulationmodel of the whole variable-speed variable-pitch wind turbines. Meanwhile,for the different of low-speed and high-speed’s control theory, this paperdesigned different fuzzy controller and conducted a simulation experiment inthe simulink of MATLAB. Simulation’s results showed that the variable-speedvariable-pitch wind turbine which controlled by the fuzzy control system hadtracked of the best tip speed ratio when the wind speed was low, and got astable output power when the wind speed was high, so the fuzzy controller aredesigned to make wind turbine’s drive system have good flexibility, and tomake wind turbine have a good stability and dynamic performance. Thus, thefuzzy control system has a high application value in the complex nonlinearsystems.
