As the power source of hydraulic system, plunger-inclined axial plunger pumps whose property and reliability largely determine the performance of the whole hydraulic system, are widely used in modern hydraulic system. Compared with the cylindrical cylinder piston pump, the plunger and the transmission axis forms an angle, which significantly improves the stroke, increases the displacement of the pump and allows to have a higher speed so that the pump can achieve greater pressure flow. The centrifugal force of plunger helps overcome their inertial force, and the plunger and the shoe does not come off easily, which improves the power of the plunger pump. Because of so many advantages, more and more research and development institutions pays close attention to the study of piston axial piston pump structural characteristics and flow characteristics.In terms of performance, inclined plunger pump is superior to column-shaped cylinder, however, design and machining difficulty also increases greatly. And the selection of plunger inclination is related to the performance and life of the pump. Based on the inclined axial piston pump, through to the analysis of the plunger motion equation and the transient flow equation, it is concluded that the movement rule of plunger and the influence on the plunger pump about the performance by the plunger angle. By simulating the molding of open axial plunger pump and changing the piston angle, it is concluded that the changing rule of flow, pressure, motion displacement and pressing force of plunger pump, which lays a theoretical foundation for optimal design of plunger pump.The main content of this paper is as follows:It is introduced in detail that the basic structure and working principle of plunger-inclined axial plunger pump, and the study on the dynamic at home and abroad.The three-dimensional model of the pump is established in the software of Pro/E by survey and drawing. And mathematical model is built on the plunger movement principle of the plunger-inclined axial plunger pump, the specialty of wagon-flow allocation, the dynamic characteristic of the swash plate, and the control principle of variable mechanism. The influence factor of the plunger angle is analyzed, and then the best computing method of the plunger angle is obtained in theory.According to the mathematical model, hydraulic model of the plunger-inclined axial plunger pump and the control model of variable mechanism are established in the software of Simulation X. The three-dimensional model of the pump is imported to the software of ADAMS, and the dynamic model is established by adding constraints. As a result, it is obtained that the force of the swash plate, piston shoes, plunger, which implements the co-simulation. The specialty of wagon-flow allocation is obtained by simulation as the plunger angle as the independent variables, and the optimum angle is inferred according to data. It is discussed that the influence on steady and transient characteristics of the system by the spring stiffness of variable mechanism, variable piston diameter, and the pressure of the cavity.
