Chain drive is a flexible parts among meshing transmission, it not only has some characteristics of gear transmission, but also has a lot of similarities with belt drive. Although the chain drive system carrying capacity, high efficiency, can work in extremely harsh environments. But because the chain itself some inevitable shortcomings, such as polygon effect, meshing impact, etc, Make the chain in the process of transmission instantaneous speed is uneven, instantaneous transmission ratio is not constant, have a strong shock and vibration in the work.This paper analyzes and summarizes the domestic and foreign research progress on static and dynamic characteristics of chain transmission system, combined with multi-body dynamics and finite element static and dynamic theoretical knowledge, taking the roller chain drive system of a feeder as the research object, using ADAMS and ANSYS tools to study the static and dynamic characteristics of the chain drive system.First, using the3D modeling software Pro/E to establish a simplified three-dimensional solid model of the chain drive system. Then using the multi-body dynamics simulation software ADAMS to do the dynamics simulation for chain drive system under different loads, different conditions dynamics simulation. Based on the simulation results, analyzing the force of chain drive system in the actual work, Boundary load and vibration conditions studying the dynamic characteristics under different working conditions. Providing a theoretical basis for the subsequent finite element analysis, for the optimization of the design of the machine also has certain significance. Finally, based on the theory of finite element analysis and multi-body dynamics simulation data, using the finite element analysis software ANSYS to do static and dynamic analysis to major parts of the chain transmission system, getting the elastic deformation and equivalent stress distribution of various parts, each order natural frequency and the corresponding vibration mode. Researching of the static and dynamic characteristics of chain drive system in this paper, can provide effective reference for other chain feeder design and development. |
