The testspecimen model was the second floor Interior Joint of the frame structure, Considering thecolumn layout were taken as the design parameters. Then the test of two specimensdesigned and fabricated by1:1.6scale which represented the interior joints were conductedunder quasi-static cyclic lateral loading to study the hysteretic behaviors,energy-dissipation capacity, the ductility property,the mechanical deformation patter ofthe connection and force-transfer mechanism of joint. Meanwhile, the finite elementanalysis software ABAQUS was adopted to simulate the hysteretic performance of thespecimens and verify the feasibility of the finite element model by contracting the resultsof test.
