Passenger assignment of intercity high-speed railway is the important content of intercitytransportation organization, the ability of intercity rail lines is to enhance the passenger travelefficiency and meet the demand of passenger travel, and the designing train timetables shouldhave to meet the demand of passenger travel for the premise, with convenient serving thepassenger for the principle. With the diversified development of railway passenger transportdemand and supply of transportation, in the process of designing train timetables, the mutualselection problem of choosing passenger flow and train will become more complicated. Thepaper focuses on different properties (scheme of speed grade, fares, stop schedule plan) trainsconsisting of intercity passenger rail service, and carry out the research based on the problemof different levels passenger flow assignment consisting of different preference passengers, toenhance the degree of match between passenger flow and train, better guiding the trainschedules has an important significance. Based on the summarizing predecessors’ research, anintercity railway passenger flow distribution model is established in this paper, the specificresearch work is as follows:(1) By recounting the characteristics of the intercity railway, and comparing intercityrailway development present situation at home and abroad and their respective operationcharacteristics, determine the background significance of this study. Summarizing andrecounting research on foreign experts and scholars on assignment of passenger flow, basedon the predecessors’ research results, analyzing the intercity railway transport organization,and the problems intercity transportation organization faced in our country, and making surethe research methods and specific content.(2) Passenger flow assignment model is built based on intercity line train schedules.Logit model is established based on the passenger flow of random load, at the time ofestablishing network impedance according to the previous chapter on the influencing factorsof intercity passenger travel choice under the premise of confirmed to travel time and travelcost, congestion cost and expected time of arrival to punish a generalized travel cost asconstraint. On the basis of the model proposed MSA algorithm solving the model, and makingthe evaluation index system of passenger flow distribution results.(3) According to the mathematical models of passenger flow assignment, the paperdesigns an intercity railway line, setting in the passenger flow OD demand and under thepremise of train schedules, the passenger assignment model and the algorithm are used tosolve the case. Passenger flow assignment results are obtained for the analysis and evaluation,in order to verify the design in this paper the feasibility and effectiveness of the model andalgorithm.
